The French Quarter Jazz Festival is Louisiana's largest free music event, a four day local talent music showcase scattered throughout the Bourbon Street district (French Quarter) as well as Jackson Square and Woldenberg Riverfront Park in New Orleans, Louisiana. There are music performances on 15 stages. Nearly 500,000 visitors and locals will fill the French Quarter for the 24th annual French Quarter Jazz Festival.
The four day weekend festival is always free and there is no cost to attend any of the performances. The only costs are for food, beverage and merchandise purchases on festival grounds and certain off-site special events.
Among the 2020 artist line-up are Trombone Shorty, Bonerama, Kermit Ruffins, Rickie Lee Jones, Storyville Stompers Brass Band, The Dixie Cups, Waylon Thibodeaux Band, Amanda Shaw, Beth Patterson, Dave Ferrato, Elizabeth Lyons, George Porter, Preservation Brass, Susan Cowsill, The Dukes Of Dixieland, The Irene Sage Band, The James Martin Band, The New Orleans Jazz Vipers and many more local and International performing artists.
The 2020 event is held October 1 to 4.
